Lovers mate
          monsoons chase
                    running streams
                              dandelions fly
Time seeds us all

Sand sands
          metal fatigues
                    oceans creak
                              birds fall from sky
Time grinds us all

Skin wrinkles
          heart stops
                    breath fades
                              mitochondria die
Time cooks us all

Apricots rot
          fireflies flicker
                    dynasties dissolve
                              species come and go
Time mocks us all

Galaxies collapse
          stars go nova
                    black holes show
                              no light no glow
Time times us all

Yet for a glance
          a murmur
          a touch
          a quiver
There's time enough for all
